The Future of App Hosting is Decentralized

ShipDapp.Launch.Host.

ShipDapp is the first platform built for AI agents and builders to ship instantly to a decentralized host. Move from a prompt to a persistent web service with crypto-native billing.

AI Agent Integration (MCP)

Let Your AI Agent
Build and Deploy

ShipDapp natively supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Connect Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf to scaffold apps, build locally, deploy to Akash devnet, and monitor containers — authenticated with an API key or your local Solana wallet.

API Key Auth

Generate a key in your account, add it to MCP client headers, and your agent is ready — no wallet signing in the terminal.

Wallet SIWS

Or skip API keys: the agent calls get_auth_challenge, signs locally with your Solana keypair, and authenticates via SIWS.

MCP Configuration

Copy the JSON config and paste it into your MCP client (Cursor, Claude, Windsurf, etc.).

How ShipDapp Compares

What actually changes when you host here instead of a Web2 cloud.

What you getTraditional CloudsShipDapp
Privacy by default
Identity locked to every app

Your name, email, phone, and card sit on file for every deployment — one account leak or subpoena exposes everything you've shipped.

Wallet is the account

Connect a Solana wallet and deploy. No email, phone, or credit card — your real-world identity never touches the host.

Machine-native auth & spend
Still tied to a human account

Even with MCP, deploys run under your personal cloud login and credit card. The agent is a guest on a human billing account.

Agents hold the keys

API keys or a Solana wallet authenticate the agent directly. It funds a prepaid vault and deploys on its own — no card, no human account in the middle.

Hard spend limits
Open-ended card charges

A looping agent or misconfigured scale-up hits your credit card until you notice — often after a painful invoice.

Prepaid vaults, hard stop

Fund a wallet escrow up front. When the balance hits zero, the deployment stops — your max loss is what you chose to load.

No platform kill switch
TOS can take you offline

Scraping, trading bots, or crypto-adjacent apps get flagged. One review ticket and your production URL is gone.

Permissionless Akash hosts

Containers run on a decentralized provider network. No central compliance team can yank your app overnight.

About ShipDapp

ShipDapp (also known as Ship dApp) is a decentralized app hosting platform. Builders and AI agents deploy Dockerized apps to Akash Network, fund hosting with Solana vaults, and ship from prompt to production through MCP and the Vibe Terminal.

Decentralized Infrastructure

Apps are deployed on Akash Network, ensuring censorship resistance and 99.9% uptime on P2P infra.

Global Availability

Your containers run on high-performance providers across the globe with zero single points of failure.

Community Funded

Anyone can contribute SOL to an app's hosting vault to keep it running forever.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about decentralized hosting, community funding, or AI integrations? We have answers.

ShipDapp is a decentralized application hosting platform. It allows developers to deploy any Dockerized application directly onto the Akash Network (a P2P decentralized cloud) and manage deployments using Solana.
Every application deployed on ShipDapp has a dedicated Solana hosting vault. Anyone in the community can fund an app by depositing SOL into its vault, ensuring public utilities and open-source projects can stay online indefinitely without relying on a single owner's credit card.
It is an open standard that allows AI coding assistants (such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf) to connect to ShipDapp. Add the MCP endpoint to your editor config, then authenticate with an API key (recommended) or a local Solana wallet (SIWS). Your agent can scaffold apps, build, deploy to devnet, and monitor containers on Akash.
No! You can write code, connect to GitHub, and commit/push changes directly inside the Vibe Terminal without connecting a wallet. A Solana wallet is only required when you want to deploy your app, fund hosting vaults, or sign in via AI agents.
Your applications run as secure Docker containers on the decentralized Akash Network. Akash consists of high-performance, P2P cloud providers distributed globally, offering extreme censorship resistance, high uptime, and up to 80% lower costs than traditional centralized providers.
