Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ShipDapp platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Platform. ShipDapp provides a developer portal and user interface that coordinates containerized software deployment to the Akash decentralized cloud compute network and Solana blockchain systems.

2. Decentralized Authentication & Key Management

Authentication to the Platform may require connecting a decentralized Solana wallet (e.g., Phantom, Solflare) or signing in using Google OAuth / GitHub tokens.

  • You are solely responsible for protecting your private keys, seed phrases, and third-party login credentials.
  • ShipDapp does not custody your private keys and has no mechanism to recover access to your Solana assets or credentials.
  • All cryptographic signatures made by your wallet on the Platform are legally binding requests authorized by you.

3. Platform Deployment & Acceptable Use

ShipDapp coordinates compute instances on the Akash decentralized network. You represent and warrant that any dockerized application, microservice, database, or static web asset deployed through the Platform:

  • Does not violate any local, national, or international laws or regulations.
  • Is not malicious software, ransomware, miners, malware, or designed for distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.
  • Does not infringe upon the intellectual property or copyright of third parties.

Deploys found violating these conditions will be terminated, and associated funding deposits will be forfeit in accordance with network protocols.

4. Transaction Fees & Community Funding

Deployments require paying network fees on the Solana blockchain and leasing compute power from the Akash network.

Community funding pools, wallet-based escrow, and micro-donations are facilitated entirely peer-to-peer on-chain. ShipDapp charges zero added management fees on basic developer tier operations, but transaction fees (gas) are governed by the respective underlying blockchain nodes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM AND HOSTED SERVICE LAYERS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. BECAUSE COMPUTE IS DISTRIBUTED AMONG INDEPENDENT AKASH PROVIDERS AND SECURED BY SOLANA CONTRACT CODES, SHIPDAPP MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING 100% UPTIME, DATA PERSISTENCE, OR IMMUNITY TO SERVICE DISRUPTIONS.
